Parish Choir - Each Sunday our Parish Choir sings all portions of the liturgical music in church with the exception of solos and ensemble presentations. The choir processes into the service with choir robes and remains in the choir loft for the duration of the service except to receive communion. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings (currently at 7 PM) and Sunday mornings (at 9 AM). The Parish Choir also participates in special services throughout the year concluding the program year with Pentecost Sunday. It does not meet in the summer (June through August)
Processional Choir - This new Choir meets on Sunday mornings at 9 AM only. It’s perfect for those unable to attend a weekday rehearsal. The Processional Choir sings the processional and recessional hymns and choir robes are provided to maintain a uniform appearance. This choir does not sing the anthems due to limited practice time.
Ensemble - This is a smaller group of three or four that rehearses more extensively and presents special communion or offertory music during the service. It also may provide recorded music for digital presentations and services online.
Vocalists/Soloists/Musicians - At special music offerings throughout the year we enlist experts with extensive training and proficiency to enhance the worship experience. If you have extensive training and proficiency in an instrument or voice, we would love to speak to you!
NON-SINGING OPPORTUNITIES
Audio Technician - The audio tech works in the sound booth at the 8:00 AM service. Responsibilities include monitoring pre-set board configuration and performing minor volume adjustments during the service. Full training is provided. This is not a livestream service.
Audio Assistant - The audio assistant helps the technician with mic set-up, sound check, last minute cable checks, music stand placement, and monitoring from various locations in the sanctuary during the service to ensure sound distribution. This position is available at both 8 and 10 AM services.
Choir Robe Coordinator - The organizational duty of keeping the choir robes in order is essential for the smooth flow of preparation on Sunday mornings. The coordinator could be available on Sunday mornings before and after the 10 AM service, or may do the organization at some time during the week, before Sunday.
Copyright Reporting - Our music copyright licenses require reporting to the copyright holders. We are looking for a person to enter the usage information for print and digital music into the online reporting platform for CCLI and One License. These are very straight-forward platforms and it is something that may be done from anywhere here is an internet connection.

The music you hear during a worship service is an art form that lifts up ordinary text to a new level. Associated with religious rites and ceremonies liturgical music has a very ancient history. We continue this tradition with hymns, anthems, and other special musical selections to fit the occasion.
Parish Choir sings at the 10:00 service on Sundays and for Special Services as assigned. We practice on Thursday evenings at 7 PM and Sunday mornings at 9 AM.
Processional Choir joins the Parish Choir on Sunday mornings at the 10:00 service and practices at 9:00 on Sunday mornings. Processional Choir members do not have to attend the Thursday practice. All Choir members processing into church wear choir robes.
Our ensemble vocalists sing in groups of two or more at Sunday Service or at special events and services as requested. They provide special anthems and liturgical music presentations appropriate for the season or occasion.
At various times throughout the year we invite visiting musicians, ministry groups like Youth Group, vocalists and bands in a range of genres to provide musical variety to our offerings, whether they are during a worship service or at an outdoor picnic.
