This Tuesday, the Food Pantry served Thanksgiving dinner - with turkey and all the fixings! - to 32 families and and estimated 105 individuals, our all-time one-day record!
The continued donations of food from parishioners, people in our neighborhood, and our community partners enable us to continue this ministry. Your food donations continue to be important! We accept donations of non-perishable food items:

Thanksgiving is just around the corner! During the first 3 weeks of November, the Food Pantry will be collecting items for Thanksgiving Baskets for needy families. We are in particular need of:
We also welcome cash donations for turkeys and pies. All items must be delivered by Sunday, November 21. Thanksgiving baskets will be given out on Monday and Tuesday, November 22nd and 23rd.

No. We may ask how many in your family so that we know how many people we are serving, but we will not require identification.
Please let us know when you drive up so that we can substitute another item. We have a little flexibility to meet dietary requirements.
We ask everyone to keep in mind that we are an emergency food pantry. If you are in dire need of food, struggling, need temporary help, or are having a sudden financial setback, you are welcome. If you are hungry, we will give you food. We do not turn anyone away who is hungry.

Good Shepherd's Food Pantry is supported by donations of food from our parishioners, people in our neighborhood, and community partners. We don't receive any financial support by any government agencies or civic groups. Donations of food or cash donations are our primary source. Online giving is also available on the Giving page of this website.
