Our Bishop has announced a diocesan wide appeal to raise funds to assist our brothers and sisters in Haiti. At Good Shepherd, we have already received a $5,000 anonymous donation toward the relief effort in Haiti. We are hoping to be able to match this gift and raise a minimum of $10,000 in support of the Bishop’s appeal. Please select Haiti Earthquake Relief from the drop down menu. We are collecting your used tablets, laptops and devices that can serve as a spiritual life-line to our homebound and assisted living parishioners. Bring devices to the church office Tues - Fri from 10am - 2pm.
St. George's is requesting t-shirts, shorts, mosquito repellent, sunscreen, straw brimmed hats, rain ponchos, and lightweight shoes or Crocs. Bring donations to Good Shepherd whenever we are open.

For customers experiencing hardship as a result of COVID-19, FPL has resources available online at FPL.com. There will be a 25% decrease in your May electric bill for residential customers. Business customers will see a onetime decrease. FPL has agreed to suspend electrical disconnections, provide payment extensions and waive late fees for customers in a hardship situation – policies that will remain in effect while Florida is under a state of emergency
